Is A German Superpower in the Offing?

Here we are again folks a day after another big downturn in the equities markets. This one was largely precipitated by yet another budget committee collapsing. At the same time we are seeing one European government after another collapse due to their mutual inability to deal with bankruptcy. In each case a more conservative regime takes office to induce more and more draconian methods to stabilize things. This morning CNBC’s Squawkbox in especially their guest pundit Jim Cramer, were reporting that Germany is now taking the stance that they will no longer fund any bailouts until each country takes steps drastic enough to warrant their investment and their criteria are strict to meet this standard. It was being reported that they expect a major European bank (they didn’t predict which one or where) would imminently go bankrupt and insolvent. When this transpires it will have a cascading effect throughout world markets. They were also predicting that they could expect to see Germany as the only solvent nation on the continent. In this eventuality Germany would become an economic giant far greater than it ever has been before. And by so doing, Germany will be able to dictate terms with anyone who wants to do business with them. Whenever this happens it becomes a matter of German culture being exported along with its business sinterests. Not one to hold back my “I told you so’s” but in 1989 and 1990 when the wiedervereinigung or German reunification finally became a reality, I made a prediction that Germany would become the most efficient nation in the world and thus an economic superpower that would rival the United States. I hasten to point out that just recently it became the world’s greatest exporter surpassing us. As long as I am reiterating my ancient history of predictions of over twenty years ago, I must report that I also said at that time that China would likewise become a global superpower. Nostradamus was an upstart by contrast to this level or accuracy! With this trend in full swing and gaining momentum we can expect to see a free fall of conservative and ultraconservative activity gaining influence, especially in Europe. Part of the symptom will be more and more ethnocentrism there with more focus on anti Moslem sentiment. In fact, it has up to now been said that the Europeans can’t afford to become too anti Islamic because they need them for labor. But in Germany today is an official effort to reach out to Greece and the other nation’s trouble with unemployment, that there are plenty of opening in Germany and to come there. If this catches on then they can let the Moslem gastarbeiten (guest workers) go back to wherever they came form in the Middle East. I have a feeling things are just starting to get warmed up so stay tuned.
